IOS acquired the TV Rights for the World Boxing Championship held in Milan, which was telecast on Doordarshan. The Channel aired the historic semi final bout between Vijender Singh and Atoev Abbos from Uzbekistan live with Vijender claiming the first medal for India at the World Boxing Championships.
IOS consulted Religare for Man U Jersey Sponsorship, May 2009
IOS was appointed exclusive agent by Religare Enterprises Limited for consulting, exploring, facilitating and negotiating the bidding process for one of the world’s biggest sports marketing properties – Manchester United’s Jersey. IOS provided strategic inputs and represented Religare in the bidding process which was eventually won by the highest bidder – AON for $130 million.
Pepsi Signs up with Vijender Singh, 12 May 2009
IOS was instrumental in getting Vijender Singh a landmark endorsement deal with the iconic youth brand Pepsi. Vijender is the first sportsmen beyond the realm of cricket in India to become a brand ambassador for Pepsi.

IOS subsidiary New Delhi Heroes (ND Heroes) began their season with their participation in the Durand Cup. Creating pan-India recognition, the team displayed its prowess as it took on the best teams from the country in the 34th Federation Cup where it upset I-League giants ‘Sporting Clube De Goa’.

First Olympic Boxing Medal for India, 20 August 2008
The biggest day for Indian Boxing as Haryana Pugilist Vijender Singh brought home the Bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics 2008. It was India’s first ever boxing medal at the Olympics.
Soon after Vijender’s Olympic glory, IOS signed up a lucrative deal with Bajaj Allianz for the star boxer. Vijender was Bajaj Allianz’s first ever brand ambassador in India.
